HTML5/JavaScript Developer Conference 2014

Developer conferences happen around the world. Some of them in India. But very rarely do such events come to South India.

That’s where a bunch of young developers from Kerala decided to bring the first-of-its-kind HTML5/JavaScript Developer Conference to South India.

The idea of the event is to bring HTML and JavaScript developers under one roof to network, interact and build.

Mozilla Kerala is an important role in the organizing of this event. Mozillians Saurabh “jsx” Nair, Abid “eKuttan” Aboobaker, Anush “bmx” A, shine ( that’s me  ), Binoy Balu and many others have actively been very hard working behind the curtains to make this event a success.

The event is happening in Kochi on April 12-13, 2014. Registrations have opened up at http://html5conf.in/. The event will be a good platform to network with other developers with the same wavelengths.

The event will be featuring sessions from various fields of HTML5 and JavaScript. Experts on the field will be talking on various topics. Sessions include The Convergence of Web Browser and Operating System,

The Future of Web Graphics, EmberJS, Javascript Robotics and many more. Mozillian, Engineering Partner, Nick Desaulniers will be flying in from Mountain View, California, USA to talk on “The Convergence of Browser and Operating System” on Sunday, April 13, 2014.

Our very own Praveen “psbots” Sridhar will be talking on his speciality – JavaScript Robotics on Sunday itself. It’s always best to keep the best for the last right?!
